Title |
BCOR modulates transcriptional activity of a subset of glucocorticoid receptor target genes involved in cell growth and mobility |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The effect of BCL6 corepressor (BCOR) on glucocorticoid signaling and was analyzed in HEK293-based cell lines using ChIP-seq and RNA-seq.

Overall design |
Chromatin binding of BCOR was analyzed using ChIP-seq from two biological replicates of HEK293 cells constitutively expressing GR (HEK293-GR; Paakinaho et al., 2014). Fragmented de-crosslinked chromatin was used as an input control. Gene expression was analyzed from three (rep1-3) biological replicates using RNA-seq. Poly-A RNA was extracted from BCOR depleted (siBCOR) or control siRNA-transfected (siNON) HEK293-GR cells treated with vehicle (ethanol, EtOH) or dexamethasone (100nM, 6h).
