Summary In this study, the transcriptome of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of a healthy adult was investigated in response to in vitro treatment with LPS, beta-glucan and 1,25(OH)2D3.
 
Overall design RNA-seq of PBMCs of one individual treated immediately after isolation in 3 biologial repeats with 10 ng/ml lipopolysaccharide (L), 5 µg/ml beta-glucan (B), their solvent (0.1% DMSO (D)), the biologically active form of vitamin D, 10 nM 1,25(OH)2D3 (V) or its solvent (0.1% ethanol (E))
