Summary |
In this study, we used PBMCs of five healthy individuals participating in the VitDHiD intervention trial (NCT03537027) and investigated in a transcriptome-wide approach the gene regulatory potential of 25(OH)D3 and D3 in reference to 1,25(OH)2D3 (GSE156124).

Overall design |
In the first experimental series (S1), PBMCs of five individuals (#05,#09,#12,#13,#14) were exposed for 24 h to either solvent (0.1% EtOH, GSE156124), 250 nM vitamin D3 (D3), 250 nM 25(OH)D3 (25D) or 10 nM 1,25(OH)2D3 (GSE156124), while in the second series (S2) PBMCs of individuals #05, #09 and #14 were stimulated for 24 h with either solvent, 100, 1000 or 10,000 nM 25(OH)D3. All experiments were performed in three repeats.
