Summary In this study, the transcriptome of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of healthy adults was investigated in response to in vitro treatment with 1,25(OH)2D3.
 
Overall design RNA-seq of PBMCs of 12 individuals (#1-12) treated for 24 h in single repeat with the biologically active form of vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D3 (125D) or solvent (0.1% ethanol (EtOH))
