Title SARS-CoV-2 Variant Delta Potently Suppresses Innate Immune Response and Evades Interferon-Activated Antiviral Responses in Human Colon Epithelial Cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Here we report differential regulation of innate immune response by SARS-CoV-2 variants and immune antagonism by Alpha and Delta variant.

Overall design Caco-2 cells were infected with four different variant isolates of SARS-CoV-2 for 24-, 48- and 72 hrs and the differential host gene expression was performed by RNA deep sequencing.
