770 genes as well as pathways and deconvoluted immune cell types were determined pre- and post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy in a cohort of 31 stage III-IV high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) patients, and associations were made with the duration of their platinum-free interval n/a
Overall design
A total of 31 HGSOC patients were included in this retrospective study. Matched formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor tissues from treatment naive biopsies and interval debulking surgery following neoadjuvant chemotherapy were obtained from each patient, with associated clinical information, for a total of 62 samples. All patients received frontline carboplatin and paclitaxel although some patients received additional therapies. NanoString nCounter Human PanCancer IO360 panel was used to analyze isolated RNA for 770 genes associated with the tumor immune microenvironment.
