Title Multivalent vaccines demonstrate immunogenicity and protect against Coxiella burnetii aerosol challenge
Platform organism Coxiella burnetii
Sample organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Protein profiling by protein array
Summary C57BL/6 mice were immunized with Coxiella burnetii vaccine Q-VAX (Seqirus) and monitored for up to 83 days post immunization. Two different routes of immunization were observed - subcutaneous and intramuscular. Subcutaneously immunized animals were boosted on day 67.

Overall design This study follows mice immunized with Q-VAX over the course of 83 days. Plasma from immunized animals were compared to naïve animals from day 0. There were 5 replicates for each route of immunization.
