Summary RNA-sequencing was performed on patient luminal progenitor breast cell subsets from premenopausal, preneoplastic BRCA2 mutation carriers and non-carriers to interrogate early transcriptional alterations in BRCA2mut/+ cells.
 
Overall design Lin-EPCAM+CD49f+ERBB3hi and Lin-EPCAM+CD49f+ERBB3lo luminal progenitor cells were isolated from n=3 premenopausal BRCA2 mutation carriers and n=3 non-carriers by FACS, then subjected to RNA-sequencing. Fluorescence minus one (FMO) controls were used to determine ERBB3lo versus ERBB3hi cells for each patient.
