Title |
Epitope mapping of 11 monoclonal antibodies directed against Neisserial adesin A by peptide microarray |
Platform organism |
Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B |
Sample organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Protein profiling by protein array
|
Summary |
The aim of the study was to determine the epitope targeted by four different HumAbs and the cross-reactivity to linear peptide epitopes of 5 different Neisserial adesin A (NadA) variants. the HumAbs were diluted at 1:200 and incubated on a custom PepStar Peptide Microarray platform printed with 348 different peptides.

Overall design |
A panel of 348 peptides (15-mer overlapping peptides with an offset of 4 amino acids) covering the entire sequence of five different NadA variants (var1, var2, var3, var4 and var5) were printed in triplicate on a custom PepStar Peptide Microarray. Process-control peptide (GGSGGGSDYKDDDDK) and human IgG were distributed in each array copy as controls. the HumAbs were profiled for anti-human IgG specific analysis of reactivity to the peptide epitopes
