Title |
Expression data from B cells expressing human AIRE |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Aire in medullary thymic epithelial cells plays an essential role in the establishment of self-tolerance through expression of broad arrays of tissue-restricted antigens. We asked what would happen if human AIRE is additively expressed in antigen-presenting cells in the thymus and periphery.

Overall design |
We established a human AIRE-transgenic mouse line on NOD-background using MHC class II promoter and hybridization was performed on Affymetrix microarrays.
