Growth protocol BAF170fl and Emx1Cre mice were maintained on a C57BL6/J background. Animals were handled in accordance with the German Animal Protection Law and with the permission of the Bezirksregierung Braunschweig.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol 2.3-2.4ug of total RNA per sample was extracted using a Qiagen RNAeasy kit.
Label biotin
Label protocol Nugen ovation system (performed by Cambridge Genomic Services, Cambridge, UK, certified Illumina provider).

Hybridization protocol Illumina Direct Hybridization Assay (performed by Cambridge Genomic Services, Cambridge, UK, certified Illumina provider)
Scan protocol Illumina protocol using Illumina BeadArray Scanner (performed by Cambridge Genomic Services, Cambridge, UK, certified Illumina provider).
Description wt3
Data processing Raw data was processed using Ilumina GenomeStudio software (performed by Cambridge Genomic Services, Cambridge, UK, certified Illumina provider). Probes passing a detection p-value threshold of 0.01 in at least one sample were selected using the R package lumi (Du et al., Bioinformatics 2008). The data were then transformed using variance stabilisation (Lin et al., Nucleic Acids Research 2008) and quantile normalised.
Values are variance-stabalised and quantile-normalised expression measures computed using the R package lumi (Du et al., Bioinformatics 2008; Lin et al., Nucleic Acids Research 2008). Only detected values are shown.
