The AML cell lines U937, NB4 and K562 were cultured in RPMI with 10% foetal bovine serum (FBS)(SIGMA), 2 mM L-glutamine (Euroclone) and antibiotics (100 U/mL penicillin, 100 µg/mL streptomycin and 250 ng/mL amphotericin-B).

Extraction protocol |
RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent, followed by clean-up and DNase I treatment with QIAGEN RNeasy mini kit in accordance with the prescribed protocol provided with the kit. Quality control was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.
