Growth protocol |
SVZ NSCs were passaged 5 times in proliferation medium(DMEM/F12/N2 – Invitrogen, 5% FCS - Hyclone, 20 ng ml-1 EGF, 20 ng ml-1 bFGF, 35 μg ml-1 bovine pituitary extract – Peprotech) before switching to differentiation media (same as proliferation media except with 2% FCS and no EGF or bFGF) for the specified time.
