Total RNA was extracted from aproximated 1000 dechorionated cbtEP(2)2237E1 and Cbt>69B embryos at 10-13 stage and purified with the mrVANATM miRNA insolation kit (Ambion·AM1260) following manufacturer´s instructions. RNA quality and quantification was performed in a Biorad Experion bioanalyzer. Three cbtEP(2)2237E1, three w1118 and three 69B>Cbt RNA samples were prepared and used to hybridize to Drosophila Genome 2.0 Affymetrix Microarrays following manucaturer´s instructions.
