For FFPE tissues, total RNA was extracted using High Pure RNA Paraffin Kit (Roche Applied Science, Mannheim, Germany) according to the manufacturer's instruction. For freshly isolated cells, total RNA was extracted using miRNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen GmbH, Hilden, Germany) with DNase I treatment protocol by the manufacturer's instruction.
