Sample type SRA

Source name grow in Wenshan, Yunnan, China
Organism Panax notoginseng
Characteristics tissue: root tuber
Treatment protocol no treatment
Growth protocol The Panax notoginseng were grown in field in Wenshan, Yunnan ,China
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was isolated from selected tissues using TRIzol reagent with the manufacture's protocol.
Small RNA libraries were prepared by following the Illumina's protocol.

Library strategy miRNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection size fractionation
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Description small RNA
Data processing Remove low quality reads with nucleotides of scores lower than 30 in the first 25 nucleotides
Keep the sequences whose lengths are greater than or equal to 18 bp (the 3' adapter sequences of reads had been removed by the sequencing facility)
Sort and remove repetitive sequences
Calculate the counts of unique sequences
The unique sequences were aligned to a self-assembled transcriptome with SOAP2
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: sequences and count values
