Source name hCASMC
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics cell type: human coronary artery smooth muscle cell
passages: 5-6
agent: NO2-CLA
Treatment protocol The cells at 80% confluence were maintained in 0.5% FBS medium for overnight and subsequently treated with NO2-CLA, CLA or vehicle control for 6 hours
Growth protocol Human coronary artery smooth muscle cells (hCASMCs) were purchased from PromoCell (Germany) and cultured in Smooth Muscle Cell Growth Medium 2 from same company at 37 °C, 5% CO2 in a standard cell culture incubator
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol The total RNA from hCASMCs were isolated and purified using RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen) and subjected to on-column RNase-free DNase treatment following the manufacturer’s recommendation (Qiagen)
RNA-seq library was prepared using the EnCore Complete RNA Seq Library System (NuGen, San Carlos, CA)
