The MasterPure Yeast RNA Purification Kit (Epicentre) was used to purify RNA. RNA was treated with Turbo DNaseI (Ambion). PolyA RNA was isolated and used to construct strand-specific libraries using the dUTP second strand marking method using the Illumina TruSeq Stranded library preparation kit.
