Description |
According to previous studies, we used the sample pooling strategies for microarray analysis in order to reduce the whole cost of the study. 3 samples were randomly chosen from each time point, and then total RNA was isolated from the frozen tissue fragments using TRIzol (Invitrogen). After the ethanol precipitation step in the TRIzol extraction procedure, we performed a cleanup using the QIAGEN RNeasy Mini Kit.The RNA fractions from the three rats in each group at the time point were balanced pooled for GeneChip analysis.
