Treatment protocol Parental and LTED MM134 and SUM44 cells were seeded in triplicates in 6-well plates. Parental cells were hormone deprived for three days before cell collection. For hormone deprivation, cells were washed twice daily for 3 days. For each wash, cells were rinsed twice with serum-free IMEM and then cultured in IMEM + 10% CSS. A minimum 1-hour interval was kept between two washes.

Extraction protocol RNA was isolated using Illustra RNAspin Mini Kit
TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Library Prep Kit was used for library preparation according to Illumina standard protocols
