Status Public on Dec 31, 2018
Title Female_Achl_RNAi_CT28
Sample type SRA

Source name heads
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Characteristics gender: Female
genotype: Achl_RNAi
time: CT28
tissue: heads
Growth protocol 3-5 day old adult flies were collected. Flies were maintained on standard food at 25 degrees under 12hr:12hr light:dark condition. The incubator light scheme was adjusted to constant darkness 24 hours before collection starts and maintained under constant darkness duringt the enitire collection period.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol fly heads were manually dissected in PBS and homogenized in Ttizol (Life Technologies), total RNAs were collected using Phase lock gels (5Prime) and RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen)
libraries were prepared with 200ng total RNA per sample using TruSeq Stranded mRNA LT prep kit (Illumina)

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Data processing STAR was used to align raw reads to the reference Drosophila genome and transcriptome, RSEM was used to quantify the expression.
Genome_build: dm6
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: STAR-RSEM-generated TPM per gene per sample
