Scan protocol |
Fluorescence images were collected at 10μm resolution using a ScanArray microarray scanner (Perkin Elmer). The same laser power (95%) and photomultiplier tube (PMT) settings were used for all slides (Cy3 PMT 75, Cy5 PMT 70). Fluorescence intensity data were extracted from TIF images using QuantArray version 3.0 software (Perkin Elmer).

Data processing |
Data transformation (setting background corrected values <0.01 to 0.01 and Lowess normalization) and analysis were performed in GeneSpring GX 7.3.1 software (Agilent Technologies). Spots with intensity less than the empty spot mean plus 2.5 times their standard deviation were excluded from the analysis.
