Livers were removed, flash frozen on dry ice, and RNA was harvested using Trizol reagent. Zymogen Research Direct-zol RNA Miniprep Plus (Cat#R2072) was used. 2 ug of total RNA was used for the construction of sequencing libraries.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using Illumina TruSeq Stranded RNA Kit wit Ribo-Zero Gold
