Female mice at six- to eight-weeks-old were injected with 10 IU of Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG) for 48 h. Meiosis II oocytes were collected 13 hour post human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) injection from females previously primed with PMSG.

Illumina bcl2fastq-1.8.4 conversion software was used for basecalling. After sequencing of single-cell RNA-seq libraries, adapters and low-qaulity bases were removed by Trimmomatic 0.36 (Bolger et al., 2014). After filtering, paired-end reads were aligned to the mouse reference genome (mm9) using HISAT2 (Kim et al., 2015) with default parameters. The uniquely mapped reads count matrix were subject to DESeq2 (Michael, et al., 2014) to identify differential expressed genes. Genome_build: mm9 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Bigwig files were generated using bamCoverage.
