RNA was fixed in RNA Later. RNA was extracted using Qiagen, Mini-prep extraction columns. RNA quality was assessed by NanoDrop analysis followed by Agilent, Bioanalyzer, NanoChip electrophoresis.

Data processing |
Data were extracted from microarray images using Agilent Feature Extraction software (Agilent Technologies). Background subtracted adjusted median signal intensities were normalized on a per-chip basis that transforms the signal intensity by dividing signal intensity for each gene, with the mean intensity in each array.
