Description

Source of cells: Subcutaneous abdominal fat needle biopsies were obtained from non-diabetic Pima Indians . Preadipocytes (stromal vascular cells) were obtained from collagenase digested adipose tissue from the infranatant after fat cells (adipocytes) were allowed to float to the top. The stromal vascular cells were cultured until subconfluency and RNA extracted from the harvested cells. Array type: Affymetrix HG-U133B. Subject: Obese female (PA-OF4)
