Total RNA was extracted using FFPE RNA/DNA Purification Plus Kit (Norgen) from five 10 μm tissue sections with adequate tumor available and analyzed using the 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA, USA). After excluding samples with suboptimal RNA integrity and content, the remaining samples were included in the nCounter analysis.
