Title |
Mouse lung-postnatal day 30-rep1 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
lung
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Characteristics |
strain: ICR gender: female development stage: adult
Treatment protocol |
Lungs were isolated by manual dissection with the aid of a dissecting microscope where necessary. Lungs were washed twice with PBS before total RNA extraction
Growth protocol |
ICR female mice were bred for timed pregnancies. The day of plug observation was considered day 0 of gestation.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Labeling was performed according to Affymetrix Gene Chip technical manual
Hybridization protocol |
The targets for Affymetrix DNA microarray analysis were prepared according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Biotin-labeled cRNA, produced by in vitro transcription, was fragmented and hybridized to Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Arrays at 45°C for 16 hr and then washed and stained using the GeneChip Fluidics.
Scan protocol |
The arrays were scanned by a GeneArray Scanner and patterns of hybridization detected as light emitted from the fluorescent reporter groups incorporated into the target and hybridized to oligonucleotide probes.
Description |
Gene expression data from different lung development stages
Data processing |
The data were analyzed with Partek Genomics Suite 6.4 using Affymetrix default analysis settings and GC-RMA as normalization method
