Data processing |
Raw data files were uploaded (RCC files) to the NanoString nSolver Analysis 4.0 software. According to nSolver Advanced Analysis Module (version 2.0.115) specifications, the geNorm algorithm (pairwise variation statistics) was used to choose an ideal set of housekeeping genes (from a total set of 30) with minimal pairwise variation for normalization. Based on NanoString cancer pathway score analysis [indicating expression changes relevant to EMT (epithelial to mesenchymal transition)], a select number of genes (23 in total) displaying statistically significant expression changes was included in our manuscript, substantiating the specific role of NRAS-driven EMT changes in malignant melanoma.
