2mL of venous blood from patients were collected into Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid (EDTA) routine blood tubes. Plasma was separated by centrifugation at 3000 rpm for 10 min at 4℃ and collected into cryogenic vials and stored at −80℃. The exoRNeasy Serum Plasma kit (Qiagen) was applied to extract the exosomal total RNAs. RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Illumina Casava1.7 software used for basecalling.
