Treatment protocol |
Control group: 5 C57BL/6J mice, 8-weeks of age fed with control diet ad libitum for 12 weeks. Experimental group: 5 C57BL/6J mice, 8-weeks of age fed with ad libitum high fat diet for 12 weeks.

Growth protocol |
After 12-weeks, the ventral (VP), dorsolateral (DLP) and anterior (AP) prostate lobes from control group and the group fed with high fat diet were removed and placed in RNase-free PBS and snapped-frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -70 °C.
