RNA isolated from developing WAT was pooled from four independent embryos at eight different embryonic and early postnatal time points. The RNA was then labeled and hybridized to Illumina Mouse Ref8 BeadChips.

Extraction protocol |
RNA from each sample was labeled using the Illumina TotalPrep RNA Amplification kit (Ambion) and cRNA was hybridized to Illumina's MouseRef-8 Expression BeadChips (Illumina). The arrays were washed, blocked, and then hybridized. Image processing and data extraction were performed using BeadStudio (Illumina).
