Sample GSM767920 Query DataSets for GSM767920
Status Public on Oct 29, 2011
Title GST_RNAi_replicate1
Sample type RNA

Source name S2 cell line, control dsRNA
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Characteristics cell line: S2
dsrna treatment: GST dRNA
Treatment protocol 1.5x10exp6 cells were treated with 10 µg dsRNA targeted against NSL1 or glutathione-S-transferase (control) for 1 hour in serum-free medium. Then, serum-containing Schneider medium was added, and cells were incubated for 6 days at 26°C before RNA extraction.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was isolated using Trizol (Invitrogen), followed by a purification using the RNeasy kit (Quiagen). RNA quality was checked using the Bioanalyzer (Agilent).
Label biotin
Label protocol Performed by Dietmar Martin and colleagues (Laboratory of Patrick Cramer, Gene Center, Munich, Germany).

Hybridization protocol Performed by Dietmar Martin and colleagues (Laboratory of Patrick Cramer, Gene Center, Munich, Germany).
Scan protocol Performed by Dietmar Martin and colleagues (Laboratory of Patrick Cramer, Gene Center, Munich, Germany).
Description Gene expression data from control RNAi-treated S2 cells.
Data processing Raw signals were processed using the R package “gcrma” (Wu and Irizarry, 2005).
