Treatment protocol |
Pregnant mice were euthanized by cervical dislocation after inhalation anesthesia. Embryos were collected into fresh Hanks’ balanced salt solution (HBSS) at 4℃ and maxillofacial tissues were dissected from the head under a stereomicroscope.

Timed-pregnant ICR mice were kept under a 12 h light/12 h dark cycle with free access to standard laboratory feed and water.
