Extraction protocol |
RNA from whole lung tissue and primary lung cells was isolated using Trizol reagent (Invitrogen, Burlington, ON, Canada) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. RNA was resuspended in 1x RNASecure (Ambion, Austin, TX, USA) and treated with the Turbo DNase-free kit (Ambion, Austin, TX, USA) to remove any traces of DNA.
