Description This sample was analyzed as part of the Stem Cell Genomics Project (http://www.scgp.ca:8080/StemBase/). The biological material was submitted to the Ontario Genomics Innovation Centre (http://www.ottawagenomecenter.ca/) by Dr. Peter Zandstra ([email protected]; 170 College Street) for analysis.

Short description: Cord blood derived, lineage negative, hematopoietic cells were cultured for 4 days and then subjected to a mock medium exchange. This included centrifugation of the cells and re-suspension in the same medium. The cells were then allowed to incubate for 24 hours prior to RNA extraction.
