Treatment protocol |
Mice received intratracheal instillation of 30 μl bleomycin (1.25 U/ml) at timepoint 0. Mice received deuterated water (intraperitoneal injection of 35 μl deuterated water per gram body weight + replacement of drinking water with 8-10% deuterated water) during the 7 days before sacrifice.

RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent, followed by clean-up and DNase I treatment with the QIAGEN RNeasy mini kit in accordance with the prescribed protocol provided with the kit. Quality control was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.
