Description PBMCs were shock-frozen in liquid nitrogen and thawed, after which cells were left at room temperature for 5 minutes before RNA was isolated using Trizol (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA), according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Targets were produced using standard Affymetrix procedures from about 8ug of total RNA.
