Design: Total microbial DNA of the swab samples was extracted with the Qiagen DNeasy mini. DNA extracts were sent to Novogene (Cambridge, United Kingdom) for library preparation and metagenomic sequencing on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 (150 bp paired-end).
