This study aimed to collect patients with different stages of periodontitis and divide them into young and old groups. 16S rRNA sequencing was performed on their subgingival plaque, supplemented by LEfSe, Spearman correlation analysis and KEGG to detect the periodontal pathogenicity of Bacteroides at diverse periodontitis stages.
