Summary We report the application of RNA-seq to identify the mRNA targets of 4 herpesviral endonucleases and uncovered a cluster of transcripts escaping degradation from all tested endonucleases.
 
Overall design mRNA profiles were obtained from HEK-293T cells that were transfected with 4 herpesviral endonuclease, cells sorted and total mRNA extracted, polyA enriched and after library prep were sequences on a HiSeq 4000
