Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was extracted from control testes and tbrd-2 knockdown testes by using TRIzol® (Invitrogen). RNA quality was validated using the Agilent Bioanalyser 2100 with the RNA 6000 Nano kit. Gene expression analysis was carried out using Affymetrix Drosophila Genome 2.0 arrays. For each array, independent RNA from whole testes pooled from 30 animals was used.
