Description |
Breast carcinoma were embedded in Tissue-Tek optimal cutting temperature compound(Sakura Finetechnical Co.Ltd., Tokyo, Japan) and frozen sectioned at a thickness of 8 micro mm. Approximately 5000 cells were laser transferred from the carcinoma tissue and applied to microarray analysis. Each population of the cells was estimated to be >98% homogeneous as determined by microscopic visualization of the captured cells. Tissue estradiol concentrations were measured by liquid chromatography/electrospray tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis.

Data processing |
Data processing was performed according to Affymetrix GeneChip expression analysis manual. Expression signals were extracted and normalized using MAS5.0.
