IRM90 were cultured in DMEM-F12 and HCT116 in McCoy’s 5A (Gibco), supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum (FBS; Gibco) and 1% (v/v) penicillin/streptomycin (Biological Industries). All cells were maintained at 37°C in a humidified incubator with 5% CO2.
