Allografts were dissected out of the adult host and splitted in several pieces. One was introduced in lysys buffer for RNA extraction and the rest were transplanted to new hosts.

Ttumours were grown and maintained by serial transplantation into adult hosts at 25ºC.

RNA was isolated from tumor using magnetic beads. 25 ng of total RNA was amplified using the TransPlex® Complete Whole Transcriptome Amplification Kit (Sigma; reference WTA2). Amplification was performed for 17 cycles.

8 µg of cDNA was subsequently fragmented and labeled using GeneChip Mapping 250K Nsp Assay Kit (Affymetrix; catalog # 900766), according to manufacturer's instructions.
