Cells were grown in DMEM with supplemented with 10% (w/v) fetal calf serum, 50 ug/ml gentamycin, 100 ug/ml kanamycin and 1% (w/v) glutamine at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere consisting of 95% air and 5% CO2.

Biotinylated cRNA was prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 150ng total RNA (GeneChip® Whole Transcript Labeling Assay Manual, 2007, Affymetrix).

Following fragmentation, 10 ug of cRNA were hybridized for 17 hr at 45C on GeneChip Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.

GeneChips were scanned using the Hewlett-Packard GeneArray Scanner GC3000.

Data processing |
The data were analyzed with Robust Multichip Average (RMA) using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method. The trimmed mean target intensity of each array was arbitrarily set to 100.
