Growth protocol |
Monoculture cell conditions.; MCF - 7 and CCL - 171 cells were expanded and propagated in Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium (DMEM) supplemented with: 10% FBS (GIBCO, Grand Island, N.Y.), L - glutamine, 4.5 g/L glucose, 100 U/ml penicillin and 100 ug/ml streptomycin (GIBCO, Grand Island, N.Y.). For mono-culture experiments the cells were cultivated for 6 hours at 30,000 cells/cm2 in DMEM medium with 5% FBS. After 6 hours medium was changed to DMEM medium with 0.2% FBS and the cells were cultured for 48 hours(starving period). After 48 hours medium was changed to a fresh DMEM medium with 0.2% FBS and the cells were cultured for 24 hours.; Protocol Type = Biological Sample; Performer: Michal,,Rajski
