Treatment protocol Vc was added to mESC medium at a final concentration of 50 μg/ml. One day after pre-iPSCs were plated onto feeder (D2), media were changed to mESC medium with or without Vc. Vc was continuously added in the Vc treatment group.
Growth protocol MaF pre-iPSCs were cultured on feeder in mESC medium with or without Vc. Media were changed everyday.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Cells were trypsinized and feeder cells were eliminated. Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cDNA were prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 100 ng total RNA (Whole Transcript (WT) Sense Target Labeling Assay Manual, 2007, Affymetrix).
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation and labeling, 10 ug of cDNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on GeneChip MoGene 1.0 ST Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix Scanner 3000 7G.
Description Gene expression data from MaF pre-iPSC9P2, Vc+, D5.
Data processing The data were analyzed with Robust Multichip Average (RMA) using Partek software.
