Title |
female JAK2 KO liver sample 102 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
Mouse liver (8 weeks)
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Characteristics |
strain: mixed (C57Bl/6:129Sv) background gender: female tissue: Liver sample number: 102 genotype/variation: JAK2 KO age: 8 weeks
Growth protocol |
Animals were maintained on breeder chow
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was isolated from mouse livers with TRIZOL (Invitrogen, Carlsbad CA) extraction, followed by purification with RNeasy Mini Column (QIAGEN, Valencia CA).
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Total RNA from 3 8-week old male and 3 female JAK2L and littermate control livers was prepared as above. RNA was analyzed using the Agilent 2100 BioAnalyzer. All samples were prepared using Affymetrix WT cDNA Synthesis and Amplification Kits for cDNA.synthesis, cRNA amplification and conversion to sense strand DNA products according to manufacturer's instructions. Samples were then fragmented and end labeled using Affymetrix WT Target Labeling and Control Reagents Kits according to manufacturer's instructions.
Hybridization protocol |
Each sample was then hybridized to an Affymetrix Mouse Gene 1.0 ST array by standard procedures.
Scan protocol |
Gene chips were scanned using the Affymetrix gene chip scanner 3000 7G
Description |
gene expression data from female JAK2 KO mouse liver FKO_102
Data processing |
Data were analyzed using the Affymetrix Expression Console (algorithm-name = rma-gene-default) and then furhter analyzed using Microsoft Excel
