Treatment protocol The Mycelia were freeze-dried and ground in liquid nitrogen using a mortar and pestle.
Growth protocol Hypocrea jecorina CBS999.97(MAT1-2) wild-type and Hypocrea jecorina CBS999.97 (MAT1-2) env1 delet strain were inculated in the center of the cellophane-covered malt extract agar (MEA) plate and incubated in a plant growth chamber at 25℃ for 7.25 days.

Extraction protocol Total RNAs were extracted using TRI reagent® soln (Ambion), and purified using the RNeasy® plant Mini Kit (QIAGEN).

Data processing NimbleScan software (V2.6) was used to obtain raw data(.pair) and converte to gene expression value (.calls). Quantile normalization algorithm was used for normalization methods.
